In regard with this our Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised a visa-on-arrival facility for Australian tourists soon and assures to be implement it by January 2015, during his speech at the Allphones Arena in Sydney's Olympic Park. He also gave a two-month deadline for the merger of Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIO), so that they get a lifetime visa. He facilitate visa-on-arrival for Australian tourists and said the PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) will be treated as one, ensuring that before the NRI day, the Indian government will get this work done.

The changes will simplify the visa procedures and also the life of people, who faces problems and laws that make them travel from one place to another.
